In relation to some of our discussions over the last few months, I thought that you might like the following article about the Archbishop of Canterbury's Easter day sermon:

Additionally, this article, which I just thought was good, from Tom Wright was in the Times on Easter Saturday.

Are you cruciformed?
In preparation for THEOS next week I've been musing on God's order as it so often conflicts with our culture and lifestyle, but today of all days this is a short sharp shock to the system.
Am I cruciformed? Am I living the life of the crucified Lord, do my days and nights, work and weekends bear the nailmarks of sacrificial love?
On Tuesday we'll be discussing the idea of a balanced life but really 'Restoration & Realignment: the Art of Giving and Receiving' is time to consider our relation to the cruciform life, God's order for this world.
THEOS, Tuesday 14th April 7.30pm @ Nazarene Theological College, Dene Road, Didsbury.
I hope to see you there!

STOP...
...right now in your day and take a moment to consider this:
'We can only master time in time'
Wise words from Abraham Joshua Heschel on the importance of Sabbath. Next Tuesday (14th April) we'll be mastering our time at THEOS, 7.30pm @ Nazarene Theological College and trying to figure out how we can balance our lives according to God's order.
Our title is: Restoration & realignment: the art of giving and receiving
